No Voice

Hi Abhilash,

There is no voice in your sentence. In order for a sentence to have a voice, there must be an action verb that the subject will do[(active)] or receive [(passive)]. The subject HE does not do any action at all nor receive. The verb HAS in your sentence tells only about the subject-that is having a pen.
