A Robert Kiyosaki quote from his book Rich Dad Poor Dad 2

"The only difference between a poor person and a rich person is what they do in their spare time"..

What a Robert Kiyosaki quote it is! And it is true.

This is the reason why I really like reading Rich Dad Poor Dad series. Not only it is written in plain and simple language but also full of quotable statements which I learn a lot from.

I would like to think that this is the main reason why a poor person gets poorer and the rich gets richer. While the rich waste no time in growing their wealth, the poor do the opposite.

Even in their spare time, they still make money. How? Don't you notice that the rich associate themselves with the wealthy or with those with power and influence? They make sure that their businesses or services reach others through their friends and/or company. So they still make money while playing golf because their golf buddies have connections to sell each other's products and services.

I read somewhere about another quotation that says that if we want to get rich, learn from those who have been there. And this is what the rich do. They make friends with others who have different types of business. From there, they create their own business models.

So why can't you and I, the poor, do this? Simply because we are more concerned at the moment how we can survive our day to day living or sometimes, nobody encourages us to put up business. Our parents will always tell us to go to school to get a JOB(Just Over Broke).

"The difference between a poor person and a rich person is what they do in their spare time", says Robert Kiyosaki.

And so it is.
